Corporate Engagement | Friends For Good

Corporate Engagement

We welcome the opportunity to work with businesses large and small where there is alignment about what we are aiming to do.

There are many success stories about partnerships that have been formed.

Looking to get involved? There are four key ways corporate organisations can engage with Friends for Good:

Host a Corporate
Volunteer Day event

We have three types of events we currently run together with corporates:

  • Hosting a “FriendLine” session at your office –your employees can volunteer on our phone line and support our callers directly (We require a once-off donation of $500 to cover set up costs)
  • Participating in an in-person large group fundraising event in Melbourne CBD.
  • Hosting a corporate dinner – we will provide a guest speaker on a relevant topic (e.g. loneliness, mental health)

for our high-priority projects

We welcome groups of 3-4 people to join us for a few weeks to use their expertise and lead some of our high-priority projects. Example projects include:

Encourage individual staff or small
groups to join us at FriendLine

Many corporates support individuals to do a day a year of volunteering.

We welcome individual employees or small groups of up to 4 people to join us in our office in the Melbourne CBD to volunteer on FriendLine getting first hand experience speaking to our callers and helping them combat loneliness.
